PPIPC actively participates in the International Coastal Cleanup, the world’s largest simultaneous coastal cleaning activity. Collected trash are documented according to type and quantity, and submitted to the Ocean Conservancy, an organization that advocates healthy oceans through the creation of science-based solutions for more than four decades. The data is used to educate the government and the public on the detrimental effects of coastal and ocean pollution in marine resources and wildlife, and the communities.
